After five long days, four bags of coffee, three cases of beer, and many two-for-ten deals at Monical's Pizza, our second album was finally recorded and mixed. It took about seven months of writing and rehearsing to prepare for our trek to Matt Talbott's legendary Earth Analog studio, about twenty minutes away from Champagne in the small town of Tolono, IL. For this record, we opted to use 2-inch tape to capture live takes of each song and craft the album from only the new materiel we'd written with Brennan. His heavy drum style that now characterizes our sound was captured tremendously by the La Croix-swilling and brilliant Kyle Prillaman, our recording engineer for those five days.

We hope you enjoy the album as much as we enjoyed making it.
